Hello all

I arrived at Van Wagner's beach around 10:00 today, much later than the others who were already there, but was informed that I didn't miss much. At 11:10 I did notice three jaegers very far out on the horizon (Long-tailed). At 2:50 Chris Escott got our attention on another Juv. Long-tailed Jaeger coming across from the right. Then at 3:00 Chris again got us onto a Juv. Long-tailed Jaeger coming in from the right, but A LOT CLOSER IN. Fantastic view if it this time. It flew west all the way towards Burlington. Our next jaeger was spotted by Kevin Maclaughlin at 4:38, near the yellow wave tower. It was our season's first Parasitic Jaeger. At 5:18 we had two more Parasitics together this time, one chasing a gull a ways out in front of us. At 5:25 a single Parasitic Jaeger was pursuing a gull closer in for photographs. At 5:56 a Juv. Long-tailed Jaeger was spotted to our right, towards the Stoney Creek part of our view. At 6:07 two jaegers were spotted together, and were Juv. Long-tailed Jaegers, a first for some in the group who had returned after being there earlier but headed home to get their other half just encase another Long-tailed showed up. The day's end result for me was Long-tailed Jaeger, 8, Parasitic Jaeger, 4. I left at 6:50 PM.
