Hi Everyone
Yesterday, August 25th, there was a nice movement of warblers and landbirds in my backyard, in Carp. Highlight was a Blue-gray Gnatcatcher, new for my yard list. Towards dusk, a total of 30+ Common Nighthawks were observed overhead hawking for insects. This morning, Aug. 26th, I observed 4 Ovenbirds, 1 Northern Waterthrush, 3 American Redstarts, 4 Black and White Warbler and 1 Wilson's Warbler. Not bad for my backyard! Saves on GAS!
