A female Dickcissel was present in the same tree with the resident male early this morning in the tall dead trees 200 yards from Dundas St.. The suspected nesting location is well enough away from the main path that they should not be to disturbed by people viewing them from the main trail. Photos are on my website at www.kennewcombe.com.
A Sharp-shinned hawk was seen working the field close to this location.

Directions: Off Dundas St, W. in Bronte, 100 meters South west of Tremaine
Road. There is a blue attractions sign near the driveway entrance on the south
east side of Dundas St. Walk in the driveway to where it bends to the east. The
dead trees are just south west of there 100 meters.
