Point Pelee Report for May 27 (Friday) Mostly sunny with light breeze and few spotters today. The female Painted Bunting of yesterday has not been seen again. White Pelican was seen at the tip at 6:30 AM. A Sanderling was also at the tip with the Dunlin. Common Merganser and Horned Grebe were seen off the West side of the Tip. Red-headed Woodpecker and White-eyed Vireos provided good looks in the Tip area . Last evening at Hillman Marsh a Short-billed Dowitcher, two Wilson's Phalarope, and several Black-bellied Plovers were spotted.
