One of the later migrants finally showed up today, May 25th at Ojibway Park, in
the wooded area NW of the visitors' centre. I got a good 30 second look at a
Connecticut warbler on the ground.
The only other species of note were a singing Tufted Titmouse and
Yellow-throated Vireo.
Ojibway Park is accessed off Matchette Rd. in the west end of Windsor.

1 Aberrant Canada goose (neck up is normal, bottom is pure white),
sighted on Erieau road about three kilometers north of Hwy 3 in
Chatham Kent. Driving north on Erieau road as you approach the
"burms" for the BFI landfill there will be a wooded property with a
house at the north end, the goose was with about fifteen other Canada
geese between this property and the next farm house in the unplanted
corn field. Sighting was made approx 5:30pm May 24th. The closest
major town would be Blenheim which is just east on Hwy 3, or Erieau
which is south on Erieau road.

   Thanks,
   Dana J. Cofell
