Yesterday at 4:30 pm I birded the lower ravine of Arkendo Park in SW Oakville and found three Indigo Buntings (in willows) and two Mourning Warblers and one Hooded Warber (feeding beside the creek in dense underbrush).
Directions: from the QEW, take Winston Churchill south to Lakeshore, then turn right heading west. You'll pass directely over the bridge over Joshua Creek; then take the first street to the left (going south) onto Arkendo which takes you to the cul-de-sac when you can park and explore lower woods along Joshua Creek.
