Yesterday between 11:00 and 11:20 am yesterday I had the good fortune of
finding a male Cerulean Warbler feeding at 15 meters high in budding
decidous trees on the west edge of the 'bowl' (a oval depression rimmed
with evergreen trees) with small flock of Yellow-rumped Warblers. It was
directly across from the 'F' build of the Humber Campus building. I also
found three Ruddy Turnstones buffeting the high winds off the lake on the
gravel beach of outermost bay.

Directions: Colonel Sam Smith Park is located in SW Toronto at the end of
Kipling Avenue which runs south off Lakeshore and is the first major N/S
road west is Islington (the main access off the QEW). The 'bowl' is located
near the east end of the first parking lot SW of the the Lakeshore/Kipling
intersection and turn east on the first road leading to park south of
Lakeshore.
