At long last there was a small fallout of warblers at
Little River in east Windsor today. Nothing
spectacular, but some good birds including Northern
Parula, Blue-winged, Canada, and the best -- at 11:35
this morning -- a Worm-eating Warbler foraging on the
east bank of the old creek. I got to watch it from
just 10 metres away for 20 minutes as it fed and then
preened for a bit.

The Little River area is accessed from Little River
Road at the intersection with Riverdale. Drive in over
the bridge, park in the parking lot, then walk south
of the toboggan hill along either side of the creek.
The best birds tend to be midway where the greatest
concentration of trees is.
