Hi Everyone
Today, April 8th I birded a few areas around Ottawa and recorded 5 adult
Lesser Black-backed Gulls. One was off Britannia Pier in a mixed flock of
Ring-billed, Herring, Great Black-backed and 3 Glaucous Gulls. The other 4
were in the area of the Trail Road Landfill Site and surrounding farm fields
along Barnsdale and Moodie Drive.
                                                        good birding

Directions: From Ottawa take Hwy 417 west to Moodie Dr. and follow
Moodie south approx 10 km. to Trail Road. Turn left on Trail Road. The
landfill site is on your left. For the farm fields, continue south to
Barnsdale Rd. Turn right and check fields.
Remember, there is now access to the Trail Road Landfill Site. You have to
bird from Trail Road.
