Listers...et al, I have posted Robert Horvath's photo of the Lark Sparrow
seen on April 5th. and 6th. at Little River in Windsor by Robert and his
brother Randy.

Randy, Matt Baker and I attemped to refind the bird late yesterday afternoon
without success.

The best way to find Little River is to take either Wyandotte street East or
Riverside Drive East from lauzon to a street called Riverdale go South on
Riverdale to the first street past Wyandotte and make a left over the little
bridge park in the lot at the base of the big hill you will see a cement
asphalt path follow that south to the very end where you will run into the
VIA railroad tracks you will now see a big open area to the East of the path
once you see a flooded part of the field  with a rise just to the East of it
you will be in the right vicinity the bird seems to like three different
areas in close proximity to the water the hilly area right along the Eastern
edge of the water, a small ditch that runs East to West  parallel to the VIA
tracks around a big steel culvert section and in the grass and hilly area
between the small ditch and the railroad tracks.
