The great blue herons have started to return to the heronry on the
Fourth Line Nassagaweya near Milton. There was also a red-tailed hawk
perched near the nests but there was no disturbance.
Go north on Guelph Line from the 401 about 5 minutes to the stoplight at
15th Sideroad. There is a PetroCan station on the right and the
cenotaph on the opposite corner. Turn right and go east to the next
road, Fourth Line. Turn left (north) and drive about one kilometer.
The heronry is on the right and easily visible. Best views with a scope.
