Yesterday on the Leslie Street Spit we found 2 very sleepy Saw-Whet Owls.
(Photo will be sent to OFO website.)We also found plenty of wash from the
previously reported Boreal, but could not relocate him.

Ducks included Redheads,Scaup,Oldsquaw, Goldeneye,Bufflehead. Also Kildeer,
Red-winged Blackbirds, Kestrel.....Spring is in the air!

Bob Yukich just phoned to say that late yesterday afternoon he saw an Eared 
Grebe in basic (winter) plumage at Bronte Harbour. He walked out the east 
side and the bird was out on the lake.
