At Lemoine Point this pm from 3-5 pm I sighted one gray phase ruffed grouse near some dense shrubs on the east side along the fence line near the airport. It was on the other side of the trail where the martin bird boxes run along the fence. The great horned owl was in a large tree on the airport side parking lot area off the north side of the main trail that runs along the farmers property.
Directions: Take the highway 38 exit from the 401 and follow the airport signs. Just past the airport there is a parking area next to a large open field. Paul O'Toole Kingston, Ontario
