About 10 this morning I saw an immature Bald Eagle sitting at the end of a pier at the boat launch on the east side of Lakefront Promenade park in Mississauga. Very big and massive, almost all dark brown with some light low on its back. When it flew up and away to the north west, some light showed low on its belly and under the tail. Lakeshore Prom. east is south of Lakeshore Rd. at a traffic light about midway between Dixie Rd. and Cawthra just east of a Tim Horton's. There's a large blue sign at the corner. Follow the road around to the right and turn in to the right beyond the lagoon.
