In the early morning hours there were 3 Great Gray Owls along LakeRidge Rd.
and 2 along Hall's Rd. By 9a.m. they had "gone elsewhere', save one Great
Gray which elected to perch in a roadside tree close to LakeRidge Rd.
all-day. For the most part people are respecting them, but we all do wish
they would stay further back AND don't carry on conversations when close to
the owl.
The "resident" Barred Owl was observed in several trees along the north path
from Hall's Rd.throughout the day. A Pileated Woodpecker had been seen
before 9a.m.
Often with the many overwintered Red-winged Blackbirds were 3 Rusty
Blackbirds.
That will dop for now.

Hall's Rd., entered south off Victoria St., is 1 block east of LakeRidge Rd.
in southwest Whitby.
