Hello Ontbirders
The Townsend's Solitaire originally found yesterday at #38 Rothwell
Dr., and observed again this morning, returned again late this
afternoon.
It came in about 3:35, and flew off at 4:08.
I waited for more than an hour before it flew in, landing on top of a
tall white pine.
Almost immediately, it came down low to feed on the buckthorn berries.
It spent a few minutes feeding and preening before flying up high to a
deciduous tree.
It then spent several minutes continuously singing a soft, relaxed
warble before flying off.
DIRECTIONS courtesy of Christina Lewis:
From the west - take Hwy 417 east to the Blair Rd. exit and go north on
Blair, then right (east) on Ogilvie Rd, cross Montreal Rd. and then turn
left on Naskapi Dr. which becomes Rothwell Dr. as you head north.
From the east - take the St. Joseph exit, go west on St. Joseph which
becomes Montreal Rd. Turn right (north) on Ogilivie Rd. and proceed as
described.

Sorry to use this media but the e-mail address I was provided with bounced.
Jean, an hour and 15 minutes from Hamilton to Cayuga should be ample time.
There is a Tim Horton's at the east end of Cayuga on #3 if you do arrive
early.
