Hi Everyone
Despite the cold and windy conditions the birding was very good today.
Had a total of 9 Snowy Owls, 1 Alfred, 1 Ste. Rose, 2 St.Albert and 4 in
the Eagleson/Fallowfield Road area. Also, a few new Great Gray Owls,
Eagleson /Fernbank and March/Diamondview Roads.
Towards dusk saw a small group of Gray Partridge near the corner of
Terry Fox and Maple Grove Road (Kanata). There are still good numbers of
Great Gray Owls both along March Valley Road and near the intersection of
Dunrobin Road and Kilmaurs Road. Unfortunately, found a dead GGO along Frank
Kenny Road near Russell Road in the Carlsbad Springs area this morning.
good birding

about 4:30 pm.
