I led a small caravan of cars with anxious birders around some county roads
in N.Pickering today-Jan.22, before the snowstorm hit. Let me mention just
one great feeder station--- 3525 Audley Rd. (Pick. sideline 2), the home of
Ed White. He has feeders at the front of his home which you can examine from
the roadway. Before venturing to view more closely, as well as in his
backyard, please ask Ed for permission. Today we saw-- 1 FOX SPARROW, 1
SONG SPARROW, several C.Redpolls, 1 N. Flicker, 3 Am. Robins, both
Nuthatches, several Downy and Hairy Woodpeckers, House Finches.

Audley Rd. is 1 street west of Lakeridge Rd., and his house is about 1km.
south of highway 7, on the east side.

Doug Lockrey, Whitby
