I observed a great grey owl on TV Tower Road, just outside of Pembroke. I have also learned that there has been a snowy owl frequenting this area since before Christmas.
Coming from Petawawa towards Pembroke, turn right onto Forest Lea Road, and then left onto TV Tower Road. The great grey was in the field on the right hand side, just past the railway tracks.
