This Jan.8 afternoon some of the birds noted along Hall's Rd. or along the pathways or in the fields to the west-- Rusty Blackbird, Cowbird, Rough-legged Hawk (dark & light-morphs), Red-tailed Hawk, Kestrel, Snow Buntings, N.Harrier, Barred Owl, Great Gray Owl, Great Horned Owl and Long-eared Owl. I feel that the visitors are now doing an excellent job of educating one another, insofaras respecting the owl's rights to daytime privacy.
