Directions: Exit the 401 at Thickson's Rd. (Whitby) and go as far south as you can. There was usually at least one bird in plain sight from the road.

We had no trouble locating the Great Gray Owls at Thickson's Woods this
afternoon. There were three in the field at the end of Thickson's Road and
another one near the woods. The hunting seemed to be good for the owls.
