Sorry about any confusion but the following is part of an email that I
received and I mistakenly thought it was an Ontbirds posting.
"A Detroit fellow, en route to Amherst, decided to try for the Boreal on
the Spit this AM-- he was confronted by a uniformed fellow "with a rifle",
who stated the Spit was out of bounds because of terrorist possibilities on
a holiday weekend---have you heard of this one?"
