Hi again All, I realize that second hand reports are generally not to be posted, but I think this bird should be noted ASAP, plus, this will be a 3rd hand, not 2nd hand report ;-) Anyway, I received a call from Andrew Jano, who received a call from Norm Murr, to say that Norm found a Boreal Owl on the spit today near the triange pond about 20ft up. I'm sure Norm will post with more details later today and I know that Andrew is heading out there right now (1:00pm).
I BELIEVE that the Triangle pond is the one along the northerly road, beyond the floating bridge (and on the south side of the road, in a depression), where a Black-necked Stilt showed up in June 1998 (if anybody remembers that bird), but I could be mistaken. Cheers & good birding, Frank ************* Frank Pinilla Toronto, ON e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
