Hi Everyone
    
The 24th Annual Dunrobin On.-Breckenridge P.Q. Christmas Bird Count was held on 
Saturday December 18th. A total of 50 species were found by 36 field observers. 
Highlights included one new species for the count Red-headed Woodpecker, 
bringing the overall total to 105 species in 24 years. Record highs were few 
but 6 Great Gray Owls broke the old record of 5 in 1983/84. Most were observed 
just after dawn along roads sitting on telephone poles. Finch numbers were low 
overall except for Common Redpoll with 661 plus on Hoary Redpoll.
    Other birds of note including 1 Great Blue Heron, 1 Barred Owl, 1 
White-throated Sparrow and 1 Red-winged Blackbird.  Thanks to all who took 
part.
