Hello Chatters.
The Highs-- A SAPSUCKER, well seen not too far
from where one was found a week ago. A second good bird was a female E.
TOWHEE at a feeder at Hungry Hollow Arkona.
Finally the Friends Of Pinery Provincial Park provided a Warm
sitting room and a meal for those counters that could attend.
The Lows--No HORNED LARKS or LONGSPURS reported
. Also a cop had a participants car towed off Kettle Point.
That definitely ruined the count for four people! If as the
officer said to me on the phone, that"He had spent 15 minutes waiting for
somebody", then he might have seen some birders walking towards him down a
sandy trail. They got 3 Pileateds as a consolation though!
Merry Christmas to EVERY ONE, and
Naturally,'GOOD BIRDING'
Alf
Rider.
