A trip to High Park in Toronto today came away with BLACK-THROATED GREY
WARBLER, White-eyed Vireo and Varied Thrush. A quick pop in at Samuel Smith
Park did not find the Snowy Owl.
Good birding to all.

The very cold snap brought several birders to the north entry path along
Hall's Rd. in the morning. I do not know whether anyone has spotted the
Golden-crowned Sp.-- possibly not since Saturday.
Today 30 or more Common Redpolls came in to join the regulars, feeding for
about 5 minutes before flying off to the west.
I noted 2 White-throateds, 1 Song, several Juncos, many Tree Sparrows, many
House Finches. Others-- Robins, 2 SHARP-SHINNED HAWKS cavorting together
above the roadway; 2 Rough-legged Hawks and 2 Red-taileds.

Access Hall's Rd. from Victoria St., 1 block east of LakeRidge Rd., in
southwest Whitby.
