This morning Sunday Dec.12th the snowy owl was on the boat docks at Col Sam park.Also here in the bay were 2 red-necked grebes. There were 2 ruby-crowned kinglets at the foot of Parkland Ave. with a creeper,winter wren,song sparrow,
juncos,and a possible call note from the titmouse.
Directions;From the Q.E. way exit Browns Line south to the Lakeshore Rd.drive east to Kipling Ave.then right to the parking lot. The other birds can be found by leaving the Q.E.way at Southdown Rd going south to the Lakeshore Rd.then east to Bexhill,and walk eastward over the bridge to the bridge and creek or off the Lakeshore at Jack darling Park go to the last parking area at the lake and walking to the west along the lake pathway to the washrooms (closed) the street here is Parkland Ave From the Lakeshore exit on Owenwood Dr to Echo Dr. then south to the lake on Parkland Ave.Owenwood is between Bexhill and Jack Darling Park.
