I tried sending this post this morning but there were obviously some problems. Anyway.. There was a Snowy Owl at Colonel Samuel Smith Park in Etobicoke this morning at 9.30 (Saturday.)
The bird was perched on the marina (docks) on the west side of the park.

Directions:

Exit the Q.E.W. at Kipling Ave. and go south towards the lake.
So straight through the intersection at Lakeshore and you are in the park. Park at the last parking lot at the turnaround and walk towards the lake. The marina is on your right (west). Unfortunately, instead of going on to High Park (and the Black-throated Gray Warbler) I went home! Ah well, after all, tomorrow is another day......
