Hi all!
This is a bit of a late post, but I guess everybody who heard about this bird being seen on Monday assumed somebody would post to Ontbirds. This morning I was talking to Bob Yukich, who told me some details about the sighting. It was found by Steven Farrier about 2:30 - 3:00 p.m.at the base of the same stairs, where the White-eyed Vireo was first seen by Bob on Dec.1st. This was my third day in the park and I still have not found the Vireo, although Bob did see it today at Deer Pen Road. Don Perks and Jerry Guild saw the Wilson's Warbler to-day from the east side of the pond, near the 20 ft. willow. Hopefully some or all of these three birds will stick around long enough to make the Xmas count - Sunday Dec.19 - when there may be more eyes searching.
I know I'll be back again - soon!
Cheers! Maris
