Several out-of-town visitors picked a "bad" morning on Hall's Rd. on
Wed.Dec.8--a rise in temp. has in the past meant very "iffy" feeding by
sparrows on the Cranberry pathway. Also a very stiff west wind and a nearby
lurking Cooper's Hawk may have kept them in the underbrush. I had a 10-sec.
glance at Goldie and 2 White-throateds around 9:30a.m. I do not know whether
others saw the Golden-crowned after I went elsewhere.
The only other bords that were reported to me--2 Great Horned Owls, many
House Finches, just a few Tree Sparrows.

Exit 401 at Salem Rd (Ajax) from the west OR Brock St. (Whitby) from the
east, south to Bayly / Victoria, east / west to Hall's Rd., south to the
FIRST ROADSIDE PARKING AREA.
