This is a belated posting ... but there goes: I spent another four hours birding Rattray Marsh from top to bottom yesterday afternoon: highlights: 4 Winter Wrens (all scattered in dense dogwoods and some even in the cattails adjacent to the board walk along the ne side of the marsh from observation lookout at the lower marsh closed to the lakeshore to the lookout on the 'peninsula' which just from nw into the lower marsh); 150 American Robins; 3 Red-necked Grebes and 90 Cedar Waxwings.
Access the center of Rattray Marsh by parking at the bottom of Bexhill (ie. south end) which runs south off Lakeshore midway between Erin Mills Parkway and Mississauga Road; the trail leads directly to 'overlook' on the 'peninsula' and other boardwalk is located at bottom of the hill which leads into the marsh.
