I saw the female Black-necked Stilt today around 11 am. It was visible from the viewing stand. The lagoons themselves are posted no trespassing.
Directions: Ridgetown is about 30 minutes east of Chatham. From Highway 401, exit at County Road 21 (exit 109) and head south to Ridgetown. >From the main corner in downtown Ridgetown (intersection of Erie Street and Main Street) follow Erie Street north for ~1.5 km to the intersection of Erie Street and Mitton Line/Palmer Street. Turn left onto Mitton Line/Palmer Street and just past the fertilizer plant which is on the north side of the street, you will see the sewage lagoons on the south side of the street. Do not go beyond the fence.
