Sorry for the delay in this posting, but the Ridgetown Black-necked
stilt was still at the sewerage lagoon last night around 5:30. The
Hudsonian Godwit wasn't around when we were viewing, but the Stilt was
certainly worth the drive.

Directions: Ridgetown is about 30 minutes east of Chatham. From Highway
401,
exit at County Road 21 (exit 109) and head south to Ridgetown. From the
main corner in downtown Ridgetown (intersection of Erie Street and Main
Street) follow Erie Street north for ~1.5 km to the intersection of Erie
Street and Mitton Line/Palmer Street. Turn left onto Mitton Line/Palmer
Street and just past the fertilizer plant which is on the north side of
the
street, you will see the sewage lagoons on the south side of the street.
Do
not go beyond the fence. The stilt is visible from the viewing stand.
