Also present among the hundreds of Canada Geese were 2 white SNOW GEESE. There is also at least one white barnyard goose there. Directions: From the 401 in Pickering, go north on White's Road to Finch. Go west to the Scarborough-Pickering Townline. Go north to the railroad tracks. The geese are in the pond on the west side of the road, immediately north of the railway tracks. At 1227 an adult GOLDEN EAGLE came in from the lake to sail along majestically behind us. 3 COMMON REDPOLLS visited briefly in the early afternoon, with a Pine Siskin.. A SNOW GOOSE (blue) flew through. Among 53 migrating raptors were 3 TV, 4 N.Harrier, 3 Sharp-shinned, 3 Cooper's, 1 N.GOSHAWK, 29 Red-tailed, 9 Rough-legged (1 dark morph) and the 1 Golden Eagle.
