Observation start time: 09:00:00
Observation end time: 16:30:00
Total observation time: 7.5 hours

Official Counter: Calvin Brennan

Observers: Jeff Schultz

Weather:
Today was for the most part entirely sunny with a bit of cirrus cloud as a
background. Winds were generally moderate but with occasional stronger
gusts and blowing from the west-southwest.

Observations:
The flight was much like yesterday’s with similar diversity but a few less
birds overall. Golden Eagles were the most notable migrant coming through
in small groups of two or three individuals.

As a follow up to yesterday’s single bird sighting of a Cave Swallow, four
more individuals flew by the hawk watch today. This is in addition to two
that were seen on Campau Road early in the morning. Also of note was a
fly-by Hudsonian Godwit.
