Observation start time: 07:00:00
Observation end time: 15:30:00
Total observation time: 7.5 hours

Official Counter: (none), Olga Klekner

Observers:

Visitors:
No visitors in the morning due to inclement weather. In the afternoon,
Janisa and Rene K. joined us from Amherstburg. Zane Handysides and Archie
Green arrived from Windsor.

Weather:
Fog, haze and smog was dominating the entire morning hours, but let up in
the afternoon, bringing out a good number of hawks and Turkey Vultures.
Temperature averaged 13 degrees Celsius with low South, Southeast winds.
No counts taken between 11:00 to 13:00 due to zero visibility.

Observations:
Bird activity started around 13:00 EST, but was in the far Northern horizon
in thick smog, making exact identification of raptors impossible.

1,220 Blue Jays, 240 Gold Finches were counted in the morning hours. 2,060
Crows were observed throughout the day. In the afternoon, crows flying
eastward equalled those migrating toward the West. Red-winged Blackbirds
resting on neighboring trees kept us company all day.

Predictions:
Slightly warmer temperatures and remaining partly cloudy.
