Hi all!
After not finding the Eurasian Wigeon in the marsh, I had a look out at Lake Ontario and was surprised to find over 250 Loons - a third to a half being Red-throateds, at various plumage stages, though mostly "winter". It was starting to drizzle, visibility was not the best and I had to hurry back to Toronto at 1.pm. - so could not do a thorough inspection of each bird. There were also some Red-necked and Horned Grebes present and a few D.C.Cormorants and Mergansers.
