Hello Ontbirds people, The bird reported yesterday from Shirleys Bay as an early 1st-winter Black-headed Gull is, in fact, a 1st-winter Bonaparte's Gull.
Our apologies to anyone who was affected by this misidentification. Oh well, we all ate Humble Pie for Thanksgiving today...it helps remove bad ticks. Life goes on, Chris Lewis
