Hi Everyone
The Lake Dore area continues to be great for birding. Yesterday
morning , October 4, 2004 there was 1 immature Parasitic Jaeger, 1 Red
Phalarope, 2 adult winter plumage Little Gulls in with 320 Bonaparte's
Gull, 1 adult Peregrine Falcon and 1 adult Bald Eagle. The conditions
made it difficult to count because of rough water but there were at
least 65 Common Loon, 37 Double-crested Cormorant, 5 Red-necked Grebe
and 21 Horned Grebe.
