Weather:
Today was a bright and sunny day with no cloud cover worth mentioning at
any time during the day. Winds were generally light out of the west with
an occasional gust from the west-northwest. In the late afternoon, the
wind switched to moderate southeast.

Observations:
After a rather slow start, the flight picked up in late morning and was
spread across the entire sky, making counting a challenge, particularly
given the clear blue. Even with the dispersed flight, many of the birds
were overhead and provided some excellent views including several adult
Red-shoulders. As yesterday, the day was dominated by TVs and Red-tails
and in discussions with Paul, it appears that both species set new highs
for the month of September. Among those tallied for the day was an adult
dark morph Red-tail.
