Weather:
With the passage of the front overnight came a sharp drop in humidity and a
change in winds to a more favorable orientation. There was partial
clearing during the morning with light to moderate west-northwest winds.
Unfortunately the cloud persisted and conditions became more overcast in
the afternoon with fairly brisk northwest winds.

Observations:
The flight was perhaps more modest than anticipated but perhaps not
unexpected given the persistent overcast. Also, after a week of south
winds it might be expected that it would take a couple of days for birds
to build up again on the north shore of Lake Erie.

There was a good showing of warblers in the early part of the day near the
boat launch of perhaps a dozen species including an unconfirmed sighting
of a Hooded Warbler.
