Winds were minimal during the morning hours picking up to moderate southeast winds in the afternoon. Observations: The flight began very slowly with few birds crossing before noon. The afternoon flight was an improvement but still generally slow and dominated by Sharp-shins. There was a considerable passerine movement in the morning including good numbers of warblers and many of the visitors that ventured onto the trails in the park found quite a few species all told. This was also the first day that a significant Blue Jay movement was observed with perhaps 1000-1500 making the crossing. ======================================================================== Report submitted by Calvin Brennan ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) SMRR- Lake Erie Metropark information may be found at: http://www.smrr.net/
