Friday, Sep.17, featured light NW winds, 8 excellent observers and 213
migrating raptors AND 60 Monarch Butterflies, over a period of 8 hours.
Highlights were 6 Ospreys, 64 Sharp-shinneds, 27 Broad-wingeds, 93 Kestrels
and 5 Merlins.

Other birds included-- Green Heron, Palm Warbler, 3 Great Egrets, VIRGINIA
RAIL and Baird's Sandpiper.

1 block east of  Lakeridge Rd. along Victoria St. in southwest Whitby, to
Hall's Rd.--south down to the secong parking area on the east side, just
north of the lakefront.
