The weather gradually improved in the afternoon with the dispersal of the heavier cloud cover and sunshine predominating. Winds were for the most part moderate, if somewhat gusty, from the west. Observations: The flight was much improved over those in the last few days although still not large, perhaps a function of the substantial cloud cover that still remained over Ontario during the afternoon. Most notable was the fine showing by Osprey and Bald Eagle, the latter posting its largest movement recorded so far this season. Predictions: The forecast for the next two days predicts winds with a northerly component which should stimulate some large movements of raptors through the area on the heals of todays passing cold front. ======================================================================== Report submitted by Calvin Brennan ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) SMRR- Lake Erie Metropark information may be found at: http://www.smrr.net/
