Observation start time: 06:00:00
Observation end time: 15:00:00
Total observation time: 9 hours

Official Counter: Tom Bolohan

Observers: Dave Brown, Keith Sealy, Mac, Su Ross-Redmond

Visitors:
Lots of visitors again today...nice to see all the kids come out to enjoy
the shows.

Weather:
Light SW - S winds. Temp to 24. Hazy sky with few clouds at all till later
in the afternoon.

Observations:
A slow day...a few birds each hour. Some nice views of Bald Eagles and
Osprey. The banders were able to produce a couple of great shows with
some excellent birds including Kestrels, Sharpies, Merlins, Harriers and
even an immature Redtail. The kids that came for a visit certainly
enjoyed themselves.

Other birds of note were Blue-Gray Gnatcatchers, Warbling Vireo, Red-Eyed
Vireo, Eastern Bluebirds, Red-bellied Woodpecker, lots of Ruby-throated
Hummingbirds. Lots of Monarchs...a nice Tiger-Swallowtail and a Cloudy
Sulfur.

Predictions:
The southerly winds and warmer weather aren't due to change for at least a
couple of days so I'm thinking what flights occur will be spread out.
