Good evening all

This morning Stan Bajurny and I drove up to the Beeton area to hopefully
find 1 or 2 of the 9 Buff-breasted SP's that Terry Osborne, Gerry Guild and
Don Perks found last Monday.
We first drove along 10th Line and in approx. 1km we came up with 82
Killdeer, 5 Golden Plovers, 8 Least Sandpipers, 3 Semipalmated Sandpipers, 4
Pectoral Sandpipers, 3 Semipalmated Plovers and a Merlin carrying prey. We
then ran out of sod fields so we turned back to 15th Sideroad with hopes cut
down on finding a Buff as we could not see any at the corner of 10th and
15th or a ways down 15th.
We turned south on 15th and just as we were about to again run out of sod
fields Stan braked for 2 birds at the edge of the field on our right (west
side) that turned out to be Meadowlarks and as we watched them fly off we
noticed some Killdeer across the field beside some farm buildings. We then
got out our telescopes and counted 23 Killdeer and with them and to each
side of them were 9 Buff-breasted Sandpipers, Bingo.
As we stood there we heard some shorebirds approaching and watched as 29
Golden Plovers circled us and landed with the afore mentioned birds and as
they set down other shorebirds joined them including 11 Semipalmated
Plovers, 9 Least Sandpipers and another 3 Buff-breasted Sandpipers for an
amazing total of 11 Buff-breasted Sandpipers.
From here it was off to Long Point
 Thanks Terry.

DIRECTIONS
From Bradford on Hwy 11 drive west on Holland St. (Reg. Rd 88) and pass
over Hwy 400 at Exit 64. Drive straight through Bond Head (this is now 7th
Line) and continue on to 15th Sideroad. Turn right (North) here and drive up
3 Concessions to 10th Line and you are there.
