Weather:
Today brought sunny conditions with virtually no cloud cover other than a
slight build up of cumulous in the afternoon. Winds were light in the
morning, picking up to moderate southeasterly in the afternoon.

Observations:
By mid morning there was a considerable amount of activity with the first
large kettles of Broad-wings seen at that time. As has often been the case
in recent history at this site, the wind direction played a part in
determining the final tally of Broad-wings as the kettles continued to be
pushed to the north of the count area as the day wore on. Even so, the
flight remained quite heavy into the early evening.
