Weather:
Today saw gradually clearing conditions after some early morning drizzle.
Much of the heavier cloud broke up by early afternoon leaving large
patches of cumulous that remained for much of the rest of the day,
although even those eventually dissipated. Winds were generally moderate,
if somewhat gusty, from the west-northwest.

Observations:
The westerly component to the wind spread the flight out over the entire
sky, a typical flight line at this site under such conditions. For the
second time this week, an Osprey was seen carrying a large goldfish passed
the watch site.

An Olive-sided Flycatcher, the second observed this fall, spent much of the
afternoon hawking insects from a snag west of the count area.
