This morning at 11:00 with moderate southwest winds, we had 3 juvenile Red
Knots at Rock Point Provincial Park. They were in the rocky/weedy coastline
at the east end of the beaches.

Also, the (a) Cattle Egret was in the last farm field (on the left) with a
pond just before the final right turn off of Regional Road 3, just before
the sign for Rock Point. (Regional Road 3 is where the signs for Rock Point
take you after you get mostly through town on Highway 3.) We did not have to
go to King road, which, I believe, is a little past the right turn for Rock
Point Park.

Directions: from Hamilton, take highway 6 south to Jarvis, left at hwy 3 to
Dunnville. Following highway 3 through town, you will then see signs for
Rock Point and the Provincial Park, which is about another 10 km.

For quick access to the east end of the beach area, find parking areas in
the caming area (you get a free map with your day use fees).
