An evening walk along Presqu'ile's sand beach (north of Owen Point) revealed more birds than indicated in my earlier posting. These could be new birds or commuters from High Bluff Island. Juvenile highlights included 24 Baird's Sandpipers and 3 Stilt Sandpipers. The northwest wind is still blowing! Directions to Presqu'ile are as indicated earlier.
